For this job the client wanted us to take as much care as possible to not destroy her flowers. This was done successfully which she was pleased about. Along with the standard height closeboard she wanted some trellis installed for growing plants on.
A large amount of hedge removal was required before this closeboard fence was installed. This increased the size of the clients Totton garden but also removed a lot of privacy, which is why he opted to have 1 foot trellis installed on top.
The posts are bolted to the existing wall, so no posts were needed to be concreted into the ground, saving time and money. This fencing style was suggested as it was the most efficient and provided a strong and sturdy fence to last for years to come.
This type of construction was recommended as it would enable me to install the fencing right up to the tree, without actually being mounted to it, as that would possibly compromise the tree itself and in time the trees growth would disrupt the fence.
